By The Cypress Team

Today, on the first day of CypressConf 2024, we are delighted to announce that both Cypress Accessibility and UI Coverage have reached general availability 🎉.

Whether keeping an eye on your test coverage, or detecting regressions that would prevent people with disabilities using your product, Cypress Cloud has more ways than ever to supercharge your test pipeline.

Learn about the details below, and request a trial in Cypress Cloud with your own projects. When your trial begins, you’ll receive a demo using your real project data in the Cloud, with no setup and configuration required – which means your team is ready to experience all the value these products offer from day one.

UI Coverage

An example of a UI Coverage report showing one untested element on the "/transaction/new" View in the Cypress Realword App. The untested element is highlighted with red and the tested elements are highlighted in green.

Easily track, monitor, and visualize the test coverage of your UI to prevent regressions by ensuring critical flows of your app are tested. Save CI resources by removing redundant tests and improve your team's productivity with a visual overview of UI coverage across every page and component.

Cypress Accessibility

Cypress Accessibility displays an "Images must have alternate text" violation in the Cypress Accessibility user interface. The violation details are explained on the left-hand side of the screen, and the image that is missing alt text is highlgihted on the right and has a tooltip pointing to it.

Visualize, triage, and fix accessibility violations without any additional code or configuration. Dive deep into each violation with live, fully-rendered DOM snapshots of your application as it appeared during your tests. Track your team’s progress over time with historical scores to monitor improvements and identify regressions.

What's next?

If you’d like to try these out, reach out to us through the links above to schedule a kickoff. Note that these products are paid add-ons to your Cypress Cloud subscription. Though the Early Access program has ended, we are happy to extend Early Access discounts for customers who request a trial before the end of October.

Happy Testing!
