I help others with Cypress by breaking down complex testing into simple, actionable insights—whether through hands-on workshops, live debugging sessions, or crafting real-world test scenarios. I thrive on turning confusion into clarity, sharing cutting-edge best practices, and building a community where Cypress isn’t just a tool, but a superpower for testers and developers alike!
What is your favorite Cypress feature?
My favorite part is time travel debugging. The ability to rewind and inspect every test step with visual snapshots makes debugging effortless and eliminates the guesswork. It’s like having a superpower to see exactly what happened at any point in the test!
What is your favorite "Cypress Best Practice" and why?
My favorite Cypress best practice is "Avoid Using Hard Waits (cy.wait())—Leverage Cypress' Auto-Waiting Instead."
Cypress automatically waits for elements to appear, animations to complete, and network requests to resolve. This makes tests faster, more reliable, and less flaky, eliminating the need for arbitrary delays. Let Cypress handle the timing, and your tests will be more efficient and robust!
Outside of work, what are your favorite things to do (hobbies, passions, etc.)?
Outside of work, I love exploring automation beyond testing, diving into AI-driven innovations, and mentoring aspiring testers and developers. I’m passionate about tech communities, hackathons, and building creative side projects. When I step away from the screen, you’ll find me traveling, enjoying good food, quizzing and geeking out over futuristic tech trends
What is one professional milestone you are proud of? (an accomplishment, celebration, recognition, etc.)
I’m proud of mentoring and teaching Robot Framework to students, guiding them from syntax basics to advanced parallel execution. Seeing them confidently automate tests and solve real-world challenges has been incredibly rewarding.
