What is your favorite "Cypress Best Practice" and why?
The first test validates the current page is the page I navigated to. It's super easy to refactor the website and suddenly all the tests fail for an unknown reason because I'm suddenly testing a different page. This quick smoke test at the top ensures the cause is easy to discover.
Outside of work, what are your favorite things to do (hobbies, passions, etc.)?
Coding, learning, teaching, service

I've spoken in-person on 4 continents.
For new users - what is the best way to "get started" with Cypress?
Come to my talks, then try it out.
What is your favorite quote or saying?
I have been asked what I mean by “word of honor.” I will tell you. Place me behind prison walls—walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground—there is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it.
